All parishioners are welcome to use the computer lab located in the Parish Office building. New comers will be assisted in learning computer skills, one on one, through hands on experience. The lab is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11:30a.m. to 3:30p.m. You are welcome to come and go as your lifestyle permits.

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP
Important date to remember - 6:30 p.m. at in the Church of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, there will be a Memorial Mass of deceased children/grandchildren. Additional information will be in next week’s bulletinIt is extremely important that the names for the booklet be submitted no later than Monday, August 18, 2008. Forms for these names will be at the front and side entrances of the church (and also at the Parish Office) beginning this weekend,

MEMORIAL MASS FOR DECEASED CHILDREN/GRANDCHILDREN
Important date to remember – 6:30 p.m. at in the Church of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, there will be a Memorial Mass of deceased children/grandchildren. We are in the process of preparing the memorial booklet for the mass.

FIRST ANNUAL DIOCESE OF TRENTON
FIRE SERVICE MEMORIAL
The Diocese of Trenton invites all fire and rescue service personnel throughout the region to the First Annual Fire Service Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, 151 N. Warren St., Trenton. Offered in thanksgiving for the sacrifice and service to the communities given by emergency services personnel both paid and volunteer at every level. Family and friends are welcome. Tickets for a late breakfast are available; $10 donation is requested. For further information, contact Msgr. By now most of our parishioners have learned of Monsignor Shenrock’s retirement as pastor of our parish. Plans are being made to honor Msgr. at the 12:30 Mass. Please keep that date free. There will be more details in next week’s bulletin.
Tuesday, September 9 R.C.I.A. PROGRAM
If you are a Roman Catholic and have received all the Sacraments but would like to know more about the faith, RCIA is for you.
If you are a Roman Catholic and have not received the Sacraments of First Communion or Confirmation, then RCIA is for you.
If you are not Roman Catholic but are interested in joining the church, then RCIA is for you.
Classes will begin on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at either 1:00 - 2:15 p.m. or 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. For those who are interested, call the Parish Office at
732-350-5001 and leave your name & telephone number and which session you would like to attend (day or evening). Last day to call will be September 3rd.

MEN’S RETREAT
For nearly 30 years, Ocean County Federation of Holy Name Societies has helped organize a group for a men’s weekend retreat at the San Alfonso Retreat House, a Redemptorist Spiritual Center on Ocean Avenue in West End, Long Branch. This year’s retreat has the planned theme “Matthew Matters”. It begins Friday evening, September 26 and ends with lunch Sunday, September 28. All are welcome and newcomers encouraged.
