"Amiable and adorable Savior, at the foot of your cross, I come to consecrate myself to You forever. It has pleased You in Your infinite mercy to unite and fasten me to it with You. O dear Jesus, I offer Thee all my sufferings little as they are now, and will accept with resignation (O by Thy grace, let me say with love) whatever You will please to send [me] in the future." Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton |
